'Real Housewives Of Atlanta' Star Arrested Again Days After Prison Release

Apollo Nida is back behind bars.

According to Page Six, the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star was picked up by the U.S. Marshals Service just days after being released from prison following a five-year prison term. "He was taken back into custody. I wouldn’t say it was an arrest because it’s not a new charge. It was an order of the court to bring him into custody," the U.S. Marshals Service told Page Six on Thursday (June 13), adding that he was in trouble for breaking a "technical condition" of his release.

"We took him to Federal Bureau of Prisons and they will deal with it since he was in their custody," the representative continued.

As previously reported, Phaedra Park's ex-husband was released from jail on June 5 despite his scheduled released date of October 15. He was supposed to finish out the rest of his sentence in a Philadelphia halfway house, where he was spotted with his fiancee, Sherian Almfti, days after his release.

In 2014, Apollo pled guilty to bank fraud and identity theft. He was sentenced to eight years behind bars. "This defendant participated in a sweeping fraud scheme that exploited many segments of the financial system, including phony claims submitted to federal and state agencies, loans secured by vehicles and even basic identity theft associated with stolen checks," United States Attorney Sally Quillian Yates said in a statement at the time.

In March 2019, however, E! News reported that Apollo's sentence was reduced to 84 months (seven years) "with credit to be given by the Bureau of Prisons for all time served." He was then scheduled to be released in August 2020 and supposed to be put on probation for several years thereafter, according to The Blast.

Apollo and his ex-wife Phaedra finalized their divorce while he was in prison in 2017. The former couple's divorce settlement came shortly after reports surfaced that Apollo proposed to a then-mystery woman by the name of Sherien while behind bars. The real estate agent later appeared on RHOA and Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta. Sherien also made sure to update fans on their relationship on her social media.
