Ariana Grande has more Eternal Sunshine for fans this year.
During an interview with Access Hollywood on the Golden Globe Awards red carpet, she was asked of she is working on any new music at the moment, and she replied that she's not "thinking" about it currently, but that she has an "attachment" for her 2024 album Eternal Sunshine that will come out. She explained, "It's not something I’m thinking about right now. But, you know, there’s something I made last year that will come out eventually. It’s an attachment of Eternal Sunshine. So, that does exist, and that will be coming out at some point."
Ariana added, "But no, I’m not in the studio at the moment."
At the tail end of 2024, Grande shared a cryptic post that ignited speculation amongst fans. On Instagram, as she was paying tribute to 2024 to wrap up the year, she shared a mysterious video, hair up in a ponytail and leaning her head to the right in front of a camera, and captioned it "To be continued" with a heart emoji. The pose in the clip is very similar to her Eternal Sunshine album cover, and in the post, tagged Katia Temkin, a motion graphics artist and photographer, who shot her Eternal Sunshine cover.
Fans began to theorize that her video meant a deluxe version of Eternal Sunshine, and perhaps this "attachment" is just that.
