Joyner Lucas has responded to Skepta's diss track, and he's not being friendly.

On Tuesday, July 15, the New England native fired off his diss track "Nobody Cares." Lucas spends three minutes defending his honor by dragging the U.K. artist through the mud. He even cites Skepta's ties to Drake, who just brought out the Grime rapper during his set at Wireless Fest last weekend.

"You keep on saying my name, you digging the grave that you gon' get buried in," Lucas raps. "Everyone back in your country looking at you like you an embarrassment."

"Nobody cares about how you and Drizzy are close/Or how you invented UK Rap, but still ain't top ten on your Coast," he continues.

The song is a direct response to Skepta's recent diss track "Friendly Fire." On the track, the 42-year-old fires a few shots at media personalities like Akademiks before he puts the ADHD rapper into his crosshairs.

"Joyner Lucas, you bastard/Why you rap like you studied at Harvard?" he raps. "If I see him on tour in London, I jump on stage and move to his dancers/Who said that I'ma lose? I need answers/You couldn't walk a mile in my shoes, I'm the hardest/I train with the animals, you really don't want this."

Skepta's back-and-forth with Joyner Lucas comes a week after he challenged American artists to step up to the mic to settle the debate over which country has the best rappers. The debate intensified over the weekend after Drake conceded that the U.K. has some of the best lyricists in the game.

"Nobody can out rap London — nobody," Drake said on stage. "No disrespect to America. No disrespect to my country. But, nobody can out rap London rappers. This is the best, this is the highest level. This is what I aspire to be.”
