Dua Lipa Might Be Doing The Next James Bond Theme!

It's Lipa. Dua Lipa... And she likes her new rules shaken...not stirred...

Every few years the people behind the James Bond film franchise get  the hottest artist of the moment to record the title track for the spy thriller. Each artist turns our hit after hit, and then ends up creating a new bop that freshens up the classic franchise. From Adele to Sam Smith and even to Sir Paul McCartney, they are all the best of the best. Check out their songs for the Bond movies down below!

Now, from the looks of things, Dua Lipa might be joining the ranks of these legendary artists.

Usually these things are tightly kept under wraps, but someone spilled the beans. Turns out that the bassist for Years and Years, Mikey Goldsworthy was the guy who told the world!!

In an interview with BBC Radio, Goldsworthy said, ""I thought they'd ask us to do the theme song, but alas, I think Dua Lipa doing it."

He then took a second and realized what just happened before the host asked if that was some confidential info.

The Years and Years member replied, "Am I not supposed to say that? That's what I've heard. I feel bad now, maybe I've ruined everything. Well, hopefully then we can do it!"

Well, my dude you probably did ruin everything. Just kidding!!! We all still love you Mikey!

And we are all probably going to love a Dua Lipa song for the theme to the newest James Bond film!

Dua Lipa's self titled album is currently out now. The singer is currently in Europe and will be returning to the United States next Friday for Panarama here in New York City.
